Congratulations to the Jr Team

On Saturday, January 16th, the Renegades visited the Panthers at Regency Sports Rink in Lancaster, Pa and won 5 - 4. Trailing early in the 3rd period by a 4 - 1 score the Renegades changed their forecheck system that produced the goals necessary to get the hard fought win while holding the Panthers offensive in check.

The Renegades then hosted the Panthers on Sunday, January 17, at Aspen Ice in Flemington, NJ. The Panthers having hit the injury bug the day before brought a depleted lineup of 12 skaters. The two teams played a scoreless 1st period but erupted for 5 goals in the 2nd. Fortunately for the Renegades they scored the extra goal to lead by a 3 - 2 score after 2 periods. The Renegades put the game away with 2 goals early in the 3rd period then played near flawless defensive hockey to cruise to a 5 - 2 win. A great weekend for the Jr team and the NJ Renegades Hockey Club.
