Midget Minors Sweep To Victory! Congratulations to the 16U "A" team who won their respective division in the Summer Festival Tournament in Oaks, Pa on Sunday, August 29, 2010. The team won all four of its games played, defeating the Bayonne Rangers, for the second time in two days, by a 5 - 2 score to secure the Championship. Playing solid defensive two way hockey, along with some stellar goaltending by both goalies, the Renegades limited their opponents to five goals against for the entire tournament. The team also added another notch to their already impressive opening of the new season (4 Wins - 0 Losses), by winning the team skating skills competition. They will undoubtedly make their mark in the league this season. A special "thank you" goes out to the individual "B" team players who attended the tournament in support of the "A" team. They should be applauded as they did much more than just be there for moral support. These guys proved shift after shift that they have the hustle, desire and game to perform and not just be a number. Guys, your character shines brightly! To all - Well done gentlemen!

NJ Renegades appoint Chris Ceransky as Midget Level Coordinator
We are proud to announce that Junior team assistant coach, Chris Ceransky, has been promoted to the position of Director and Coordinator of the Midget program for the NJ Renegades Hockey Club. Chris has been with the Renegades for four seasons, serving as an associate coach & goalie coach for all of our youth teams. He has also served, for the past two season, as the assistant coach, goalie coach and head scout of the Renegades Junior Team. Chris' main focus for the 2010 season, will be the Midget short season program. When this is complete in mid November, he will continue his work with the youth teams as an assistant coach & goalie coach as well as his duties with the Junior Team. Chris relates very well to players at the Midget age level and we feel that his talents at this level will best serve not only the club but our Midget age players as well. Chris will also serve as head coach of two of the Renegades short season Midget teams. Depending on the number of teams we field, Chris will announce additional Midget coaches at tryouts. Junior head coach, Cliff Graziano Jr, will continue to serve as the skills instructor at all pracitces for the Midget level as well as for all other youth levels. Assisting coach Ceransky in the upcoming season will be four returning veterans with Midget level coaching experience. They are; Pat Pellegrino, Chris Mikolajczyk, Brayden Fahey, and Mike Hart. They will once again be offering their assistance to make the Midget level the best it can be. Also joining the Midget coaching staff for the 2010 season will be Ian MacKellar. Ian is a native of Michigan and was an associate coach with the Bantam team this past season. He has extensive knowledge in playing, coaching and running youth hockey organizations. We welcome Ian to the Midget coaching staff. Coach Ceransky will be focusing on two main aspects of the Midget program: 1. To prepare and condition the players for their respective high school hockey seasons. 2. To educate the players for their future hockey endeavors including playing for the NJ Renegades Junior team. For more information on this please feel free to contact Chris Ceransky at or Cliff Graziano Jr at
Bantams Win In Grand FinaleCongratulations to the Bantam team, who polished off the season by winning the "A" division in the March Madness tournament in Monsey, NY on Sunday, 3/21/10. The Renegades defeated a spirited Rampoo Saints team by a 4 - 3 margin with the winning goal, by Brett Conrads, hitting the twine with twelve seconds remaining on the clock in the third period. The Renegades who were on the other side of the coin last weekend as runners-up in Vineland, could now bask in the glory of their victory, which tasted twice as sweet this weekend. Great Job Gentlemen!
Puckz
Congratulations to Mite player, Joseph Hudicka, who created HIS VERY OWN APP called "Puckz". Even more exciting, it has just been launched at the Apple Store giving anyone and everyone access to it. We hope that everyone checks out and enjoys his fun hockey game creation. Shows that when you set your mind to do anything, you usually can. Way to go Joey! We are proud of you.
