Rutgers Hockey and the NJ Renegades have had a really good working relationship for the last 10 years and it’s only going to get better. The Renegades Jr team has advised and moved many of it’s players onto Rutgers over the years such as Rob Pellegrino, Greg Anash, Justin Gelesky, Tyler and Hunter Rule and Teddy Udelsman. The current Renegades Junior team is looking to move a few more if it’s players on from this years current team to Rutgers for the 17-18 season.
Renegades Owner/GM Cliff Graziano “We’ve worked well with the Rutgers staff over the years and the relationship is building where it is only getting better by the season. We have a lot of recruits with talent that are looking for a good education as well as playing competitive ACHA Division I and Division II Ice Hockey while they attend such a fine university”.
Renegades Head Coach Pete Rossi added “We send Rutgers players and work very closely with their staff. RU Associate Coach Mike Vishnevetsky was one of our Renegades asst. coaches and goalie coach so he has been on both sides of this and sees the benefit to both programs. I really look forward to working even closer with him and the RU program in years to come”
If any junior aged players born 2001-1997 are looking for a junior team and they may have a strong interest in Rutgers for college then The NJ Renegades are the team that player should look at. For more information please contact one of our coaches listed on our contact page.
