Longtime Renegade Jr player Austin Albrecht is enjoying his time in the NAHL, which is the only Tier II USA Hockey Jr League in the country. He is leading his Wichita Falls(Texas) Wildcats in Goals(17), Assists(21) and points(38) which also puts him in 4th place overall in the entire League. His Wildcats have also endured team success due to Austin’s play by recording a 23-5 record for 1st place overall in the very tough NAHL South division.
Renegades GM/Coach said “Austin really flourished in the two and a half years he spent in our Jr system. He is a loyal Renegade and a special person as well as a special player. We are extremely proud of what he is accomplishing and where he will end up.”
Austin will either commit to college or look to advance his Jr career for next season. When that happens we’ll be sure to update his situation.
Thanks to all those alumni that came out and played in our Alumni game Saturday night. It was great to see so many people a lot of us haven’t seen in quite some time, including parents that came down to watch their kids play again. We look forward to hosting this again; we hope you will be a part of it again next year!
