WHAT: This Recruit Skate is for those 05-10 birthyears that are looking to check out the program for the next 2025-2026 season. Keep in mind this is also for players looking to check out our 16U/18U Jr Development Team (JDP) that plays a AA/AAA independent schedule and AHF Showcases, but benefits by practicing and doing all video/off-ice training, etc... with the Jr team!

WHEN: Wed. March 19th (8:30 - 10:00pm)

WHERE: SportsCare Arena, Randolph, NJ

WHY: We offer the most ice of anyone around! Professional off-ice training! 135" projector in our video room! Individual workout plans! Individual on ice sessions! Group sessions! Team sessions! Private Jr locker room! Family atmosphere! Pro and collegiate alumni who give back to the program and the players!

FOR THIS SKATE YOU MUST BE APPROVED!!! So what everyone that would like to attend needs to do is fill out our player interest form on the link below. You will be contacted via email by Coach Graz regardless if you get in or not.

It is STRONGLY SUGGESTED to do this ASAP as waiting until the last minute will only make it more difficult to get in and approved.

"Local" Player Jr Tryouts 

This set of tryouts are for the "Local" player that can make the midweek tryout skates.

Mon April 7th (8-9:30pm)

Tues April 8th (8:10-9:40pm) 

Mon April 14th (6:30-7:45pm)

*PLEASE ARRIVE 45-60 minutes before each date to check-in.

Early Registration Fee $150 (*if registered by March 20th) 

*$200 if after March 20th

These JR ID Skates will be used for the “Local Players" Tryout. USPHL Premier Jr contracts for the 2025-2026 season will be offered to players “privately" and “individually" starting on Mon. April 7th.  If a player does not get offered a Jr contract for the Jr Team, he could then be offered a contract for our 18U Jr Development Team (JDP) (Birthyears 2007-2010) on Mon. April 14th after 4pm in accordance with the AAHA tryout policy.

*Players born in 2010 are not Jr eligible for the 2025-2026 season and will use these ID skates to “check out our program for the following 2026-2027 season" as well as using these skates for skills training/conditioning purposes and if you are offered an 18U JDP contract it will be on April 14th.

ALL PLAYERS offered a contract at the "Local" Tryout are also Required to attend additional Jr ID Skates on: 

Sat April 26th (5:00-7:15pm) 

Sun April 27th (10:00am-12:15pm) 

These sessions are a part of your registration/tryout fee you’ve already paid. 

*These Additional JR ID Skates on April 26th-27th will be used for the “Out-of-Town Players" Tryout along with the contracted players from the "Local" tryout.

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) is pleased to announce that the New Jersey Renegades will join the #USPHLPremier Conference for the 2025-26 season. The Renegades are transitioning after competing in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) Premier Division since the 2017-18 season. Starting next season, the Renegades will compete in the highly competitive Atlantic Division of the USPHL Premier.

NICK GRAZIANO - NJ Renegades(EHLP)-Team MD(EHL)/European Pro Player  

"Coach Fusco at TM as well as my father Coach Graz who coached me most of my career and 3 years on the Renegades Jr Team, as well as my whole overall experience in the EHL & EHLP, has prepared me for this next step in my career and I cannot thank my coaches enough for the guidance and help they have given me," said Graziano. "I'm extremely excited about starting my professional career in France."

Graziano is the prime example of a player progressing on his way up the ladder, after playing three seasons for his father with the Renegades, and his final two years of Jr hockey for Coach Fusco with Team Maryland.

Our brother and fellow Renegades Alumni Coach Chris Ceransky passed away on Friday March 4th, 2022. It is a sad, sad day! The last 24 hours have been heartbreaking for all of us concerned for Chris and his family.

To his wife Sam Ceransky & Chris’s parents and extended family, we are all here for you. Please reach out if you need anything!

Topher Ceransky was like a little brother to me. He started coaching in our youth program then on to our Renegades Jr team. We coached together for many, many years with the Renegades, Turcotte Stickhandling, Team MD, and many other clinics, camps and lessons. He exemplified everything we wanted in a Renegades coach, but more importantly he was a true friend.

I, along with the many players he coached, coaches he coached with, and parents that reached out in the last 24 hours was an amazing support of our hockey family that Chris helped us build. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. I love you brother. He is and always will be a Renegade, and part of of our family.

The Renegades Jr Program plan to skate 2 teams for the season:    

1) EHL Premier Jr Team Email Coach Graz to discuss your interest and any questions regarding the program.  Evaluations scheduled privately.

2) Jr Development Program (JDP) 18U We will be taking on 18U birth years as well as any 16U birth years that we feel can play up.    We will playing an AHF "AA" schedule and may schedule AAA games, showcases and tournaments.  Tryout dates TBD as per the AAHA.  We encourage ALL players interested to attend Jr tryouts to see if you're a candidate for the Jr team first.  Email Coach Graz to discuss sending video and discussing with us your options.

BILLET FAMILIES NEEDED

What is a Renegades Billet family?  

It's a host family that takes in a Jr player in the age range of 16-20 years old, that needs a place to live for the 6 month Jr team season.  

Billeted players assist with chores around the house, help your kids with their homework and their sports endeavors!

Any family that billets will get discounts on lessons, clinics, etc... please make sure to ask Coach Graz!

We ask for "Billet Families" to provide a clean, safe, family-friendly environment for our players, and in return, billet families receive a monthly stipend to cover food expenses for the players.

We are in need of a few more "billet," families for the upcoming season so if you are interested please let us know ASAP!
